Laila fell in love with squash growing up in Cairo, Egypt, drawn to its intensity, competitiveness, and most importantly, its sense of community. At 16, she moved abroad to play college squash, where her passion for the game deepened and she discovered a love for coaching.

She thrives on the connections the sport brings- meeting people from all over the world through a shared love of the game. That’s what led her to Nicol NY, where the vibrant, welcoming environment felt like the perfect fit.

When she’s not on court, Laila enjoys working out, going for runs, and trying new cafés and restaurants.
